The best advertising
welcome to guesthouse.
Hello, Recess
We’re Guesthouse. We keep things simple.
We’ve done famous work for huge brands, and left big agency life to help brands create fun social and digital content people care about.
Recess couldn’t be more exactly who we had in mind. We love doing culturally-right work, especially for beverage and CPG brands. We’re all for healthier ways to relax. And we’re also built to act less like an agency, more like a part of your team to help come up with and produce exciting content your audience actually seeks out. We’re doing it now for three great brands we met through Breef: Magic Spoon Cereal, Every Man Jack, and Flexcar.
This site will show you some work we’ve done in your category, some stuff that hits similar audiences, and the talented team we’re planning to build to work on this with you (with the caveat that we haven’t met you yet!)
Thanks for taking a look, and we hope to chat with you soon!

R E M I N D E R
EVERYONE HATES advertising.
BUT THEY LOVE INTERESTING THINGS.
LET’S MAKE INTERESTING THINGS TOGETHER.
EVERY MAN JACK
Guesthouse is here to be an extension of your team. That’s exactly what we do for Every Man Jack, working alongside their in-house team to concept and prodcue all kinds of social, digital, motion graphics, e-retail, and email content. We’d love to share more and show you exactly how it works. In-house, with extra nice sheets.

“I have found working with Guesthouse to be incredibly unique. From the outset, they have been a great thought partner and really an extension of our internal creative team.”
CAPTURING THE BRAND VOICE
We love working with brands to capture their unique personality through how they show up in social and digital. It’s the only way to be different when everyone’s the same.
Gaia Herbs goes out of their way to make their herbs the right way. Even though there are no laws that say they have to. We created these fun social videos using real employees to make the point that Gaia makes the hardest working herbs on earth, in a genuine way.
(Adaptogens and other plant-based goodness)
Gaia herbs
““Employee testimonials usually put people to sleep, but they work like a charm in this new campaign for Gaia Herbs.””
To promote Gaia’s higher-end products, we tapped supermodel and wellness influencer Giselle Bündchen. She’s used the brand for decades, so we followed her around at her villa in Costa Rica and showed how she uses the products in her life.
Magic Spoon is the protein-first replacement for sugary cereal that lets Millennials and Gen Z eat like a kid in their adult bodies. To launch their new product - a healthy rice crispie treat - we had two distinct voices. One attention-grabbing brand-based visual comedy approach, and one product focused direction with more of a smart-funny, educational tone.

MAGIC SPOON TREATS
LANSINOH
(Standing with new mothers )
In a category of products for new moms that present themselves as quirky and fun, we helped Lansinoh stand apart by embracing the ups AND downs of motherhood.
FRENCH’S MUSTARD
(Getting attention for the world’s least exciting product)
No one was talking about mustard. Until we created an unignorably controversial treat and unleashed it on the world. What followed was a lot of social love, free earned media, sales, and copycats. In fact, it kicked off the “weird-food collab” trend in social.
COCA-COLA
For Coke, summer is their Super Bowl. It’s the time where they have to show the next generation why their products aren’t their parents’ drinks. We created a social campaign that reintroduced names on Coke in a highly personal way, by creative a unique song and social video for each of over 1,000 names. And we filled the airwaves, social, cinema, and OOH with fashion-inspired stories shot by filmmaker Lance Accord and fashion photographer Guy Aroch.

SOCIAL STRATEGIST & CREATOR, CAITY
We can’t wait to introduce you to our amazing social strategist Caity Barnes. She has a great eye for what connects on social channels, and like you, uses fashion and beauty as inspiration. She not only manages social brands, she creates content. We’ve worked with her on Gaia Herbs, Bridgestone, Videri Chocolate, Zara, and Zulily. (For a client list, that’s a lot of Z’s.)

ART DIRECTOR & ILLUSTRATOR, TORI
Tori Evert loves concepting and creating social content. For years, she traveled Hilton properties, and making them look incredibly fun. Her design style is bright, quirky, and colorful. Our favorite is her work on Olipop. We recently worked with her to design packaging for Ponysaurus High Horse THC Seltzer. And she does an amazing job on Every Man Jack, making us laugh with social-first videos and stills.
